Service

Vivid color

Fashion shades in reds, pinks, purples, blues, greens and pastels, placed where you want them: all over, in panels, in blocks or as a peekaboo layer.

It suits people who like the color more than they mind the upkeep, and who want a plan for the weeks after. Results vary with your starting hair, and your colorist tells you what to expect before anything goes on.

  • Starts with a consultation and a strand test

  • Patch test before your first color

  • A refresh schedule written down

What happens

A vivid color day, in four parts

Most days run three to five hours.

  1. 01
    20 min

    Step 1: Plan the shades

We check the strand, confirm where each shade goes and section the hair.

  2. 02
    1–2 h

    Step 2: Lighten

Lightener goes on section by section and is checked by eye. If your hair needs a second round, we tell you before we start it.

  3. 03
    1–1½ h

    Step 3: Color

Each shade is painted in where the plan says, then set while we check the tone.

  4. 04
    45–60 min

    Step 4: Rinse, gloss, dry

A cool rinse, a gloss to set the tone and a dry. You leave with a care sheet and a refresh date.

Before you book

  • What sets the price

The length and density of your hair, how much lightening it needs, how many shades you want and the hours it takes. Your colorist quotes it before the color goes on.

    How pricing works
  • Before you come in

Come for a consultation and a patch test first. Bring photos of colors you like, and tell us what's been on your hair, including box color and henna.

  • Who does it

Questions about this service

How long will my color last?

Vivid shades soften with every wash. Plan a refresh every three to six weeks, depending on the shade; reds and pinks go first.

Can I go vivid on dark hair?

Often, with lightening first. Deep violets and some reds can sit over a soft lift. We test a strand and tell you what your hair will do.

What if I want to go back?

Going back to a natural shade is a color service too. Book a consultation and we'll plan it.
